By-Election Candidate Shane Kennedy
Shane graduated from Memorial University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He currently works as an account executive with Triware Technologies in the sales and customer service industry. He is passionate about his community and improving the level of public service in the region. He is dedicated to addressing the lack of recreational facilities, fire services, junior high and senior high schools in Paradise and increased traffic congestion. When not at work, Shane enjoys spending time with family and friends participating in outdoor activities such as hiking, gardening and snowshoeing. Shane has prided himself on serving the needs of people and plans to extend his commitment to the people of Topsail District as their Member of the House of Assembly.

With the close of nominations at 12:00pm today, The Liberal Party of Newfoundland and Labrador is pleased to announce that Shane Kennedy will represent the party in the Topsail by-election scheduled for March 16th.
“It is very encouraging that young, educated, articulate candidates are coming forward to run for our party,” said Liberal Party President Judy Morrow. “Shane’s commitment to the people of Topsail district is evident in his desire to improve infrastructure and services and strengthen the community in which he lives. I look forward to working with Shane as our candidate, and hopefully as the newest MHA in our caucus.”

Shane Kennedy, Liberal Candidate in the Topsail by-election, will be officially opening his headquarters this Thursday, March 4th at 7:00 pm. Shane will be joined by his team of supporters, including Liberal Leader Yvonne Jones and Party President Judy Morrow. The headquarters is located at: 1676 Topsail Road, at the corner of Glendarek Drive across from Octagon Pond. Everyone is welcome to attend! Refreshments & food served.
